Feed The Shark
Colors And Shapes Matching Center Activity
For Preschoolers and Toddlers
My son has always had an obsession with sharks which is why I tend to do a lot of different projects with sharks. This one is an idea that I had while at the beach but took forever to finish because I kept getting side tracked with other projects and events. I also worried that it was a little mean to feed cute smiling fish to the toothy smile of a shark so I debated sharing it at all.
- Scissors
- Printed PDF
- Laminator or cardboard with glue
Laminate the shark or glue to a piece of cardboard/box.
Cut out the mouth by either cutting the jagged teeth or the whole mouth.
Cut out the the fish and cards. There are two different sets of fish, one with colors and one with shapes. Print out as many of the color fish as you want to have them locate. Cut the cards out. Stack the cards into a stack. Place the fish out in a layer. Have the child draw a card and then feed the shark either the matching fish with the shape or the color on the card.
