Warning: This could quite possibly be one of the worst things you could eat… But also one of the most delicious!
Back to school first day requires a special treat! How about homemade doughnuts? ok… How about Nutella covered Cream filled homemade Doughnuts? YES PLEASE!
What you need:
Oil
Can of Biscuits
Nutella
Powdered Sugar
Whipped Cream
Add around an inch of oil to your pot. Set on Medium heat.
Wait for it to start to bubble and then a few at a time, drop in biscuits.
Wait for around a minute and then flip.
This part should be done by the adult as the oil does sometimes splatter when dropping the dough in.
Now comes the fun!
Let them cool and give the kids free reign in decorating them!
You could also provide them with fruit, nuts, or whatever other decorative things they can think of.
The Reddi wip can be inserted into the doughnut and squeezed to fill them with whipped goodness. Although you should wait until they are completely cool or they will melt the cream.
The kids love the cream filling part. Well they loved making them explode with whipped cream.
And I now know, an exploded doughnut is still a doughnut, just messier. 🙂
A little coating of powdered sugar makes everything nice!
And then covered with sweet Nutella and everything becomes twice as nice!
Has my Nutella addiction become to obvious?
I could never be in Witness Protection, they could always find me based on my Nutella buying habit.

Seriously Becka! These look to amazingly good for words!!
Can I say that I’m a huge fan of this series!
And this looks delicious. My two-year-old son calls doughnuts “noahs.” Not sure why but he’d approve of this.
