DIY Pencil Holder from Empty Playdoh Containers

Playdoh is all the craze around here lately. However it usually gets left out and dries out. After looking at the empty containers stacking up I decided to try to use them to make something. This is what I made…

This pencil holder was SUPER easy to make and the best thing is, it works great.

I used three Play-Doh containers and an empty DVD case as the materials. Although instead of the DVD case you could use something different, I had this on hand and it worked good. Other ideas would be a block of wood or possibly a thing box.

All I did was hot glue the Playdoh containers to the dvd case.

And that was all there was to this cute new addition to the toddler’s school desk.
