Flower Word Family Wheels
These are word family wheels for use in learning to read certain word that have the same endings. Such as Can, Tan, Ban, Man… This is a great way to help preschoolers and kindergartners practice those important reading skills. There is a small amount of prep work to create the flower wheels and split pins are required to make the flowers turn. The instructions for the suggested use of these materials are below.
Instructions for Suggested Use:
Print the pdf and cut out the two flowers on each page.
Place the one with blank petals on top of the other.
Push a split pin through the middle.
Turn the bottom flower to create different word.
Materials needed to produce suggested outcome:
(although it is always encouraged to use materials in any way you wish.)
Split pins such as these to make the flower rotate.
Word Families included in this download:
-an -at -ap -it -ig -et
and a blank one for you to make your own.
