Free Printable Firework Counting 1 – 10 Activity
My youngest and I are working on our number recognition for number one to ten. This activity I made to help her practice matching the word and number to the amount. It does take a few minutes to cut it all out. You can also laminate or cover in clear contact paper if you want to reuse them as with any printable activity that is going to be manipulated by little hands. My little one loved the firecracker theme and also notice that the patterns of the stripes on the different fireworks.
There are two parts, the top and the bottom. The top of the firework has the number and written word while the bottom have stripes and stars. The child can count the stripes or touch each star to count while top fits each rocket. Another way you could use this activity is to tape or glue the bottoms on to a strip of large paper and add Velcro tabs onto the tops and above the top of the bottom. Then you can hang it on the wall and they can stick the tops on with the velcro and reuse the board. Could even be used as a file folder game in the same manner possibly.
