Free Printable Halloween Pumpkin Counting Game
It’s almost Halloween day and I have yet to share all my Halloween printables I have been working on this month! This month has been crazy busy and full. Next month calendar isn’t quite so full. I will begin sharing my Thanksgiving printables soon. I have a few ideas about how I want to take things but it all depends on time at this point. With only so many hours in a day and so much to fit into them, some things tend to sit unfinished. I made this game for my daughter and I to play one afternoon. It’s a simple and and easy way to help with number recognition.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!
Game Instructions:
Setup:
Print a card for each player. There really isn’t a maximum number of kids but if you have a large group I would break them into groups of 5 or so. Kids tend to not do well when waiting for their turn and if they have to wait for 15 kids to roll the dice, things may go badly. 🙂
Print and cut out dice. Tape or glue the edges to form the box. Laminating and using tape sometimes helps make it more durable.
Play:
Each player takes a turn rolling the dice.
They then place a marker on number that is on top on their card.
The next player rolls doing the same.
If they have no more of the number they rolled to cover on their paper, the turn moves to the next player.
First to fill the whole page wins.
