Printable Unicorn Themed 10 Frames
Preschool and Kindergarten Counting Activity
Practice counting to 10 by counting how the stars!
How many stars are in the sky?
Another activity to go along with our new unicorn theme! Use this activity to introduce the ten frames concept as well as practice counting up to 10.
Materials List:
- Pdf printed
- Lamination Machine
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut out each 10 frame box.
- I would suggest laminating each card to make them reusable.
- Cut out the star squares. They could also use counting blocks, play dough, markers, or other manipulative to count with.
- Count out the stars onto the 10 frames for each number. There is also the correct number of stars on the rainbow above the frames. They can count them as well.
These fun cards help kids practice their counting and number recognition skills as well as introducing them to the concept of the ten frame.
