Word Building Learn To Spell Word Mat
300+ words to spell, write, and learn!
On this word mat they will learn to spell, build, write, count letters, vowels, consonants, syllables, and write a sentence for over 300 different words most of them sight words. It’s a great literacy center activity that requires very few materials.
We spend a lot of time and paper writing spelling words. I thought about this as an idea to save paper and be a little more Earth friendly. There is just one mat that can be used for any spelling word. Just write the word you want them to practice in the read it box. I also included over 300 different sight words for them to practice.
What you need:
- laminator
- scissors
- dry erase markers
- letters (magnetic, foam, or tiles)
Setup
- Laminate the word mat. This makes it reusable with dry erase markers and able to be used with each word.
Use the words included or write your own to practice different spelling words!
