DIY Corn Syrup Glitter Splatter Paint Art<\/h2>\n

Looking for a fun creative art project to do outside this summer?<\/p>\n

This activity is safe and fun for any age. You can leave the glitter out for smaller children.<\/p>\n

Mess Warning: This project is VERY messy and sticky. I would suggest doing this outside.
\nSometimes the mess is worth the outcome and this is one of those times.<\/p>\n

The good part is that even though it’s messy, the mess is really easy to clean up with just water.<\/p>\n

Material List:<\/h3>\n

Clear Corn Syrup
\nFood Coloring
\nGlitter
\nPaintbrushes
\nCups
\nStirrers<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pour in about a half an inch of corn syrup into the bottom of a small plastic cup. We reused Italian ice cups and they worked out perfectly.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Stirring is part of the fun. The colors look so pretty!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Lay a piece of thick construction paper down. Let child sling the paint onto the paper. This creates an awesome pattern!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The cool thing about this paint is that even when it dries, it still looks wet.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The colors mesh together to form an odd rainbow look. We will surely be doing this activity again. These pictures are beautiful!<\/p>\n

It does seem like it takes forever for the paint to dry, I would suggest leaving it laying flat over night.<\/p>\n
