I have a hard time picking a favorite from the three. From the chocolaty goodness of Count Chocula to the berry blue delight of Boo Berry to the strawberry goodness of Franken Berry they make the holiday worth waiting for. I watch for them to be put out so I can grab them first chance I get. One treat we like to make with them is Halloween Trail Mix. It’s a simple easy recipe that can be done with a few ingredients that you can find at Target right along with the cereal.

We are going to use some chocolate candies, candy corn, raisins, powdered sugar, pretzels, and the Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® or Franken Berry® Cereals. These ingredients can be found in the cereal aisle, candy and snack aisle, and chip/pretzel aisle at your local Target. This snack was so easy and fun to create, I even made it while on the road traveling for this kids to snack on in the back seat.

While at Target I picked up some Halloween snack treat bags to hold

Tie the bag closed and you have a sweet treat that is easy to carry along to give the kids some energy while out trick or treating. It may also keep those little hands from dipping into the Halloween candy. It’s also a great treat for traveling. You can find more great snack recipes here.

Another great thing about the Target excluve boxes of Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® or Franken Berry® Cereals is the castle on the back. Each box has a pieces of the castle and together they can create a cute Halloween craft.

Cut out each castle piece and then let the kids put them together. It’s a super fun easy way to spend the afternoon crafting.

The pieces have notches to connect them. All three boxes together make the castle!

When done the castle can be used to store your trail mix bags in a creative and spooky display!

[ultimate-recipe id=”12668″ template=”default”]

Sweet Treat Halloween Trail Mix With Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® or Franken Berry® Cereals
