DIY Down On The Farm Felt Board Character Set For Stories and Play<\/h1>\n

5 pages of characters and letters to print out and create your own felt board or magnetic play set!<\/p>\n

I found this awesome blue flannel board at our local thrift store and we brought it home. It is huge. I made my own<\/a>\u00a0for around 6 dollars before and we enjoyed it so much back then but it got put away and I couldn’t find it again. This lucky find has brought back my love for flannel board story time. It also brings back memories of Bible class in school when this super nice little older lady would come in once a week and tell us Bible stories with a felt board. That would not be allowed now in the school system but I remember how much we all looked forward to her story telling skills and props as well as the stories themselves.<\/p>\n

This set includes a few animals, farmer, barn, tractor, fruits, and vegetables.<\/strong> <\/em>
\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

What you need:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\n
• 5 piece of White Felt<\/li>\n
• 5 Iron On Transfer Print Sheets<\/li>\n
• Iron<\/li>\n
• Scissors<\/li>\n
• Felt Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Step<\/i> One<\/i>:
  \n<\/i>Print Pdf onto TShirt Transfer sheets. I used a pack I picked up at Walmart but I would think any transfer paper would do.<\/p>\n

  Here are some tshirt transfers I found on Amazon for example.<\/a><\/p>\n

  Step Two:
  \n<\/i>Iron transfer sheets onto felt. Make sure to get all the corners…from experience the paper will rip and make it difficult to peel. Wait for it to cool also learned the hard way. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

  Here is an example<\/a> of what I mean when I say felt. Although you can grab these at Walmart for .25.<\/p>\n

  Step Three:
  \n<\/i>Carefully peel the back piece from the transfer paper. It should come off leaving behind the picture.<\/p>\n

  Step Four:
  \n<\/i>Cut out the pictures. You can leave a trim or not.<\/p>\n

  Alternatively you could print them onto magnetic printer paper to make to magnetic!<\/strong><\/h3>\n
